BirdDog O4 is the PTZ camera designed to handle any outdoor environment, delivering professional performance even in the most challenging conditions. It is built for stadiums, urban infrastructure, outdoor events, and perimeter monitoring, combining broadcast-quality imaging, extreme weather resistance, and an advanced AI-powered tracking system.
The IP66-rated die-cast aluminum body is engineered to operate in temperatures ranging from -40°C to +60°C. Thanks to the integrated heater, the camera actively prevents fogging and condensation, while the hydrophobic lens coating keeps images sharp even in rain, snow, or dust.
O4 features a 1/1.8″ CMOS sensor capable of capturing 4K60 video with rich colors and impressive dynamic range. The 30x optical zoom (up to 60x in HD mode) allows you to capture distant details, while the built-in IR laser illuminator with a reach of up to 500 meters ensures outstanding night vision, supported by IR and black-and-white modes for total darkness.
The camera’s design is optimized for clean, secure installations: all connections are housed within a sealed compartment with integrated cable management and a strain-relief system. O4 supports simultaneous NDI High Bandwidth and NDI HX3 streaming, and also outputs via SRT, RTMP, and RTSP. With 12G-SDI, HDMI, PoE++, and an SFP port, it integrates seamlessly into any IP, SDI, or fiber-based infrastructure.
The AI auto-tracking system enables smooth and natural subject tracking, with customizable profiles for different scenarios such as sports, events, conferences, or surveillance.
Fully integrated into the BirdDog ecosystem, O4 can be controlled via the dedicated iPad/iPhone app or through BirdUI, the full-featured web interface accessible from any device on the same network.
