BirdDog X1 30x – 1080P PTZ Camera with 30x Optical Zoom – White
Following the X1 and X1 Ultra, the new BirdDog X1 30x is the third PTZ camera in the world equipped with built-in Wi-Fi technology. It features a dedicated NDI-HX decoder specifically designed for use with a control monitor or teleprompter via a single cable. In addition, the X1 30x offers a 30x optical zoom, unmatched in the PTZ camera segment.
The AI tracking technology integrated into all three X1 models keeps the subject in focus and follows it in real time — whether during live events, spontaneous situations in hybrid environments, or dynamic sports recordings. Thanks to its Wi-Fi connectivity, the BirdDog X1 30x can also be used in locations where cable installation is not possible, allowing perfect integration into any environment.
With NDI-HX3 integration, it delivers excellent image quality over the network with significantly reduced bandwidth usage.
The X1 30x features an innovative tally system: a bright frame, clearly visible even in daylight, illuminates the front of the camera, while the back can be marked with an interchangeable illuminated number. This ensures both on-camera talent and crew always know which unit is live.
The revolutionary side e-Ink label displays the camera’s network address even when powered off, making it easily identifiable and simple to configure at any time.
BirdDog has further optimized color reproduction. The X1 30x is equipped with a color matrix offering individual saturation control for red, green, blue, cyan, yellow, and magenta — with 64 levels of adjustment for each color.
The intuitive iPad/iPhone app provides full control over the BirdDog camera: pan, tilt, zoom, saving and recalling preset PTZ positions, and full-screen image preview. All color matrix tools and settings can also be managed directly from the app.
Connectivity is comprehensive: NDI HX3, HDMI, USB-C, and Wi-Fi seamlessly connect the IP world with baseband workflows.
In line with BirdDog’s sustainability commitment, each X1 30x is made from OBP (Ocean Bound Plastic).
